My Story

My Story...

    My name is Gabriel Erno and I am a California native living out my passion for helping others achieve their fitness and health goals. 

    I obtained my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University in May of 2020 and immediately after became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

    I have 1,000+ hours of experience in 1 on 1 personal training, as a volunteer in physical therapy and adaptive therapy clinics, and as a group fitness instructor.

    I use my passion for people and expertise as a fitness professional to craft truly individualized programs to achieve any fitness goal.

Training Areas of Expertise 

 Bodybuilding/Strength Training (Maximize Muscle and Strength Gain)

- Maximizing muscle growth and strength through progressive resistance exercises and strategic nutritional plans. This regimen typically involves lifting heavy weights with proper form, varying intensity and volume, and ensuring adequate protein intake and recovery periods to promote hypertrophy and muscle repair.


Physique Transformations (Losing Weight and Building Muscle)

- Involves a strategic combination of diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. This process aims to reduce body fat while increasing muscle mass, resulting in a more defined and muscular physique, improved health, and enhanced physical performance.


Strength Training for Youth/Teens

- Involves exercises designed to improve muscle strength, endurance, and overall physical fitness, using body weight, free weights, or resistance machines. This type of training, when properly supervised, can enhance athletic performance, support healthy growth and development, and promote lifelong fitness habits.


Correctional Exercise/Longevity Training

- Focuses on improving physical function, correcting postural imbalances, and enhancing movement patterns to prevent injury and promote long-term health. This type of training incorporates strength, flexibility, and stability exercises tailored to an individual's needs, aiming to improve overall quality of life and extend active, healthy years.

Why I Do What I Do...

"Gabe is truly a professional and has a passion for what he does. I had never done weight training in my life. I started working with Gabe in January, and I weighed 122 pounds. I’ve been skinny my whole life and figured it was to hard to gain weight. Now , a little over 3 months and I’m weighing in at 140 feeling stronger than I have ever felt. He’s always got a great attitude and motivation towards our sessions. Thanks Gabe!"
